Quad Cities Law Enforcement Officers Memorial
The Quad Cities Law Enforcement Officers Memorial is dedicated to honoring the 46 Quad City police officers killed in the line of duty since 1869. A memorial dedicated to those officers stands on the grounds of the Rock Island County Justice Center. We also have a “rolling memorial” squad car.
Each year we pay tribute to these fallen officers at an annual memorial service.
In appreciation of those officers who currently serve, we also host an annual Officer Appreciation Dinner. This event is designed to show our gratitude for those officers who currently serve their community and to also recognize those officers who gave their lives in the line of duty.
