Prospect Avenue Project
Location: Prospect Avenue from Grove Street to Center Street
Phase 1: New Jersey American Water will replace the water main, install new water service from the main to each residential property, and replace fire hydrants.
Phase 2: Milling and paving 2 inches of the road surface, and painting the road striping to match the original state before the start of the project.
April 28, 2025: The new water main has been installed. The next steps include the installation of water services and new fire hydrants.
