South Avenue / Grove Street Street Project
Location: South Avenue / Grove Street from New Market Road to Hall Street
Phase 1: New Jersey American Water will replace the water main, install new water service from the main to each residential property, and replace fire hydrants.
Phase 2: Milling and paving 2 inches of the road surface, and painting the road striping to match the original state before the start of the project.
June 5, 2025: A new water main has been installed from New Market to Pulaski Street.
April 28, 2025: Test pits are taking place at the Grove Street & Prospect Avenue culvert.
