The Bremer County Conservation Board manages 3 lakes in the county: Avenue of the Saints Lake and Recreation Area, Plainfield Lake, and Horton Road Ponds.
Avenue of the Saints Lake - *Hunting is permitted*
Avenue of the Saints Lake & Recreation area is a 105 acre property just 2 miles southwest of Waverly. There is an open shelter as well as a pit latrine for guest convenience. Easy access to water for canoeing or fishing via a boat ramp and fishing dock. Walking/hiking trails are located around the lake through a scenic prairie.

Plainfield Lake - *Hunting is not permitted*
Plainfield Lake is located 0.5 miles north of Plainfield. There is canoe and fishing access via a boat ramp with hiking trails circling the lake. Three open shelters and a pit latrine are located throughout the area.

Horton Road Ponds - *Hunting is not permitted*
Horton Road Ponds is a 24 acres area located just 3 miles north of Waverly. The ponds were dug out and created when Horton Road was rebuilt. Mowed paths circle around and in between the two ponds. Easy access along the pond's edge for fishing.
