Welcome to Folly Beach

Folly Beach, also known as “The Edge of America”, is the closest beach to historic Charleston. The City limits include the six-mile-long Folly Island as well as a number of smaller islands and marshlands reaching back to James Island. Folly Beach is known for sea, sand, surfing, wildlife, and a great sense of community among residents.
