The La Mirada community has many outstanding facilities, programs, and services available for local residents, but there is much that still needs to be done.

The La Mirada Community Foundation was founded in 1999 to serve La Mirada residents by supporting programs, services, and organizations that improve the quality of life in the community. The Foundation secures and distributes financial contributions. Like many other organizations, the Foundation has a 501(c)3 designation, which allows donations to be tax deductible.

The City has prepared a catalog highlighting a variety of opportunities for improving the community. By making a contribution to the La Mirada Community Foundation, you can join other individuals, community organizations, and businesses in providing the financial support needed for specific services, programs, and facilities.
