About Recreation

Registration Policy: Events and programs are open to all Robbinsville Township residents. All registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited for some events or programs. Registrations and payments by credit card, cash, or check are accepted at the Recreation Division offices. Checks should be made payable to “Robbinsville Township.”

Privacy Policy: The Robbinsville Township Recreation Department does not collect personally identifying information about a user except for information voluntarily provided to us to serve the user’s needs and for legitimate registration purposes. For example, when the user completes an online registration, we need to retain certain personally identifying information on the Site to respond to the registration. A user’s personally-identifying information (voluntarily submitted in connection with online registration) will be treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties. 

Program Cancellation Policy:  The Recreation Division reserves the right to cancel any event or program if there is insufficient enrollment or to change any of the dates, times, locations, ages, fees, or other information for any program. All registration fees for canceled programs will be refunded.

Refund Policy:  
ON ANY PROGRAMS OPENED FOR REGISTRATION BEFORE MAY 14, 2026:
No exceptions will be made to this policy (Resolution 2019-309). Please read carefully. Registrants who wish to withdraw prior to an event or the start of a program may be issued a refund only if the Recreation Division is notified in writing five (5) business days prior to the event date or the starting date of the program. For cancellations within five (5) business days of the event or the start of the program, a 20% administrative service charge (not to exceed $50) will be imposed per registration. No credits or refunds will be granted after a program has started or on the date of the event. The summer camp program has a separate refund policy, which will be noted on pertinent registration information.
ON ANY PROGRAMS OPENED FOR REGISTRATION AFTER MAY 14, 2026:
No exceptions will be made to this policy (Resolution 2026-163). Registrants who wish to withdraw prior to an event or the start of a program will first be offered a credit on their account, or may be issued a refund only if the Recreation Division is notified in writing before five (5) business days prior to the event date or the starting of the program. Administrative fees paid at the time of registration are nonrefundable. For cancellations within five (5) business days of the event or the start of the program, a 20% late cancellation fee (not to exceed $50) will be imposed per registration. No credits or refunds will be granted after a program has started or on the date of the event. The summer camp program has a separate refund policy, which will be noted on pertinent registration information.

Programs are not prorated and are non-transferable.

Security Policy: Your payment and personal information are always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including your credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Returned Check Policy: A $20 penalty fee will be charged for any check returned by the bank due to insufficient funds, per Robbinsville Township Code Section 109-10. To maintain registration in the program, the registrant must pay the registration and penalty fee in cash.
