Transfer Station Year Around Hours
- Wednesdays-8:00 am - 3:00 pm
- Thursdays - 8:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Saturdays -8:00 am – 2:00 pm
The Transfer Station takes the following items at NO CHARGE, and Residents DO NOT NEED AN ANNUAL PERMIT:
- Box Springs & Mattresses (in acceptable condition)
- Paint
- Computer Monitors
- Printers
- Computer Hard Drives
- Televisions
- Mercury and Mercury Thermometers;
- Textiles (clothing, shoes, belts, cloth, etc.)
The Transfer Station takes the following items at NO CHARGE, but Residents MUST PURCHASE AN ANNUAL PERMIT - $25.00 (Proof of Residency Required):
- Antifreeze
- Glass Containers
- Propane Tanks (20-30 lb. only)
- Car Batteries
- Grass Clipping
- Metal (small, light, non-electrical
- Cardboard
- Oil (items with no oil, fuel, or Freon)
- Diesel & Kerosene
- Earth Products (Dirt, Bricks, Rocks)
- Paper
- Metal Containers
- Electronics (other than those listed above)
- Plastic Containers
- Fluorescent Bulbs
- Leaves, Wood Chips
The Transfer Station DOES NOT ACCEPT the following items:
- Asbestos
- Insecticides
- Aerosols
- Lead Paint Chips
- Alkaline Batteries
- Medical or Radioactive Waste
- Household Hazardous Waste events
- Automotive and Household Cleaners and Fluids
- Metal Polishers
- Compressed Gas Cylinders (except 20-30 lb. propane)
- Poisons
- Drain and Oven Cleaners
- Pool and Photo Chemicals
- Explosives, Pyrotechnics and Ammunition
- Smoke Detectors
- Fire Extinguishers (metal can be recycled if empty)
- Upholstery Cleaners
- Grease & Rust Solvents
- Wood Cleaners
- Gasoline
