PESTICIDE USE ENFORCEMENT
The Yuba County Agricultural Commissioners office is the primary local enforcement for pesticide laws and regulations within Yuba County. The main goal of the pesticide use enforcement program is to ensure pesticides are handled and applied safely, protecting people and the environment. Yuba County regulates pesticide use to prevent misapplication or drift, and possible contamination of people or the environment. Our department seeks compliance through community and industry education and outreach. By working with pest control businesses, growers, and employees, we aim to gain a higher level of compliance.
