Major Project Overview
Friendship Park, located in the heart of West Linda, is one of the community's most beloved spaces, and the County is kicking off a $5.8 million grant-funded beautification project that will transform a vacant field into a vibrant community center. The 22.5-acre County-owned community park lot is the largest park in the Gledhill Landscaping District. Existing amenities, such as playgrounds, courts and picnic areas are concentrated in one area, while much of the park has remained underutilized. One of its most defining features is a 7+ acre community garden, maintained by members of the local Hmong community, will be preserved and woven into the project improvements.
