Inter-Library Loan:
Materials from all over the USA become available via Interlibrary Loan. Our search begins with other libraries in the area, and if necessary expands to the State and Nation. (Rule of thumb when requesting Interlibrary Loan materials:
Libraries will not lend books with recent copyright dates (one year is the norm.) They want these to stay in house and be available for their own patrons.) Libraries will not lend reference materials. Postage and Handling for ILL materials is $2.00 an item and only 1 request can be made at a time.
Reference, Readers Advisory:
Assisting people in person and over the phone with their requests for information on a wide range of topics or needs regarding the location of materials on particular subjects, including online searching. If adequate resources are not available, requests for materials and information are sent to other libraries via Interlibrary Loan.
Local History Archives Room & Genealogy:
The Local History Archives Room is devoted to local history. It includes books, newspapers, photographs, pamphlets and unpublished documents for researchers interested in the history of the area.
