FY 26/27 Proposed Property Tax Notice
*Important note about the Proposed Property Tax Notice:
The notice linked above will be mailed to all property taxpayers in mid-March. Property tax estimations on the notice assume an increase in assessed valuation of 10%, resulting in an estimated tax increase of 5% for a residential property. The City's levy rate is proposed to increase from $13.11/1000 to $13.33091/1000. The increased levy rate is attributable to the construction of a new police station which was approved by voters in November. Separate from the police station, increased tax dollars for operations will fund the rising costs of existing city services and new or one-time expenditures for life saving equipment in Police and Fire.
