The City bills for the following municipal services:
- Sewer
- Garbage (solid waste)
- Stormwater

Residential Customers
Residential utility accounts are billed quarterly.
Bills are issued in:
- January
- April
- July
- October
Each bill covers the previous three months of service.
Commercial Customers
Commercial utility accounts are billed monthly.

How to Register for the Billing Portal
- Go to the website: Visit www.bettendorf.org/paymybill in your web browser.
- Click ‘Create New Account’: Look for the button or link to create a new account.
- Click on ‘Start’ to follow the 3-step process to get access to your account. You will need an email, new account number and phone number to validate the account.
- CREATE USER-Enter basic details, verify your email and set a password. Click ‘Continue’. A verification email will be sent. Set your password and navigate back to the portal.
- Log in using your email and password: Search for your account using the new account number.
- Validate Account: Enter the phone number associated with your account. We have used the phone number you have on file with Iowa American Water, to change this number please contact our office.
- View your portal dashboard, account balance, latest bill, and make payments.
