The engineering division is responsible for the design and construction of road and bridge projects, permitting, budgeting and program development. This division also handles the personnel administration and accounting for both divisions. Permits for driveways, dust control, utilities, tile crossings, work in the right of way and moving permits are issued through this office.
5 Year Construction Plan
The 5 year construction plan is updated annually and includes all paving projects and bridge projects to be completed in Bremer County, other than some smaller culvert projects which will be completed by Bremer County crews. Below is the Fiscal Year 2026- 2030 construction plan. Projects shown on the plan are subject to change based on other needs or funding changes.
