Responsibilities & Services

The Town's Department of Public Works provides maintenance or is responsible for all publicly-owned streets, the public beach, municipal grounds, Kestrel Court, and public equipment. In addition, the Department oversees 5 continuing services contracts that provide technical expertise that the Town does not possess in-house or services. 

The Department of Public Works is responsible for the following Key Functions:

  • Facilities Maintenance
  • Fleet Maintenance
  • Bike Path (Public-Owned) Maintenance
  • Beautification/Right-of-Way Maintenance
  • Asset/Management & Support Services
  • Contract Administration
  • Emergency Management

Solid Waste Services
