General Information

The general responsibilities of the Building Department are to enforce construction and related building, condemnation, and demolition codes as mandated by the State Building Code and local Town ordinances.

Among these general responsibilities are the issuance of building construction, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical installation permits and the collection of applicable fees. 

The Building Department is pleased to announce that building permits are now obtainable online through the City Squared access portal.
