City of Winder Municipal Court is held at the Winder Community Center.
Court is held on Fridays at 8 a.m.

Mission
The Municipal Court hears and adjudicates cases involving possible violations of city ordinances and certain state laws. The Municipal Judge shall maintain law and order in the city to resolve disputes and to comply with the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution and Laws of the State of Georgia, and the Code of Ordinances of the City of Winder.
- Handles Traffic Citations including city ordinances and state laws and Parking Citations
- Management of Municipal City Court Records
- Handles all Payments before and during court
- Maintains Communications through all departments
- Communicates and handles all of the public, attorneys, solicitors, judges, city and state agencies questions, concerns and phone calls
- Manages a court management computer system including computer input for all City Ordinances, traffic and some misdemeanor cases
- Monitors and handles all cash bonds
- Reports all convictions to the proper state agencies
- Prepares monthly state reports required by law
- Prepares all case file folders
