California State Parks Distinguished Veteran Pass
Acceptance Policy at Sycamore Ranch
The State of California Department of Parks and Recreation makes available, to eligible veterans, a Distinguished Veteran Pass. The pass entitles the holder to the use of all basic facilities (including day use, camping and boating) in California State Parks at no charge.
Yuba County will honor valid Distinguished Veteran Pass-holders to one individual campsite at Sycamore Ranch for up to five consecutive days, in a three month period, at no charge.
It is California State Parks that issues the pass that Yuba County will honor. The Distinguished Veteran Pass must be shown to staff and determined validity and that it matches the identity of the person that the reservation is for.
